Learning Objectives
- Assess the feasibility, acceptability, and preliminary outcomes of implementing a school-based sleep promotion program for 4-year-old kindergarten students to inform future adaptations and scalability
- Assess the feasibility, acceptability, and preliminary impact of a sleep intervention for preschool-aged children in low-income households, to inform future research and equitable implementation strategies
- Analyze the effects of early school start times on sleep duration and quality in kindergarten-aged children with evening chronotypes, to inform policy and scheduling decisions that support healthy sleep development
- Analyze how maternal feeding practices and beliefs related to toddler sleep are shaped by acculturation, generational status, and food insecurity among Mexican American families, to inform culturally attuned and context-sensitive sleep health interventions
- Evaluate how bioecological factors, including family dynamics, cultural context, and environmental conditions, shape early childhood bedtime routines and influence longitudinal sleep outcomes
- Compare the effects of graduated extinction and responsive sleep strategies on infant sleep outcomes and maternal well-being, based on findings from a randomized controlled trial
